Robbing the poor

THE salaries of deputies are tied to that of a principal officer in the civil service and the senators to assistant principals.

In the Croke Park Agreement, no further reductions in salaries are contemplated, yet we can take €1 an hour off the lowest paid workers. Do we not see an element of “mé fein” in this so called agreement.

How can these so incompetents justify taking from the weakest people in society? In an about turn, rob the poor to pay the rich.
