A nation in tatters

WE are only six years away from commemorating the 1916 uprising which laid the foundations for a church and state Republic.

It is soul destroying that trusted priests and politicians have taken less than 100 years to turn these foundations to sand.

The physical and financial abusers of the Irish people have left the country in tatters.
