Public pay cuts a must

IRELAND as a bankrupt State can no longer afford to pay anyone more than €100,000 per year.

Anyone in the public sector who believes that they are worth more than this should look for work on the open market and good luck to them. Public Sector workers above €50,000 need to take a pay cut of at least 30%.

Public sector workers below 50,000 need to take a pay cut of 10%.

The reductions need to be implemented immediately by the next government.

These savings need to be made now so that we minimise the amount we need to take from the bailout fund that has been made available to us.
