Chilling parody

I WISH to thank you for your chilling parody on the 1916 proclamation (November 19).

And while it is probably too futile to hope its sentiments will have any effect on TDs on the Government benches, it will be remembered (with apologies to Yeats) now and in time to be wherever green is worn.

A terrible tragedy is born.
