‘Offensive’ advert reflects falling standards

IT was with heavy heart that I read the Ryanair advertisement in your issue of November 6.

The publication of such an offensive message reflects badly on those who choose to try to make gain from the sad situation in which Neil Prendeville finds himself.

It reflects badly too on the newspaper which published such suggestive material. These low standards are all too symptomatic of the climate in which we now live in this country.
