A new white elephant

I WAS horrified to hear FÁS is to be replaced by a new organisation. Instead of carrying out a proper reorganisation to make FÁS ‘fit for purpose’, how many existing senior staff there will move sideways possibly with redundancy payments and golden handshakes.

This latest brainchild of a minister completely out of touch with the ordinary voter must be resisted by every thinking person.

How many members of the opposition will also see this as a cosy place to put political appointees?
