Time to get them out of the shiny Mercs

SEEING ministers arrive at Farmleigh House chauffeur driven in shiny Mercs and Audis to plan cuts for everyone it seems but themselves displays graphically the extent to which this Government is out of touch. Amid all the discussion about cuts and taxes, there are three cuts that must be made.

First the ministerial Mercs, then the ministers’ salaries and finally the ministers themselves. Roll on January and a likely general election that will rid us of this calamitous administration which got the boom wrong, got the state of the economy wrong, got the so-called recovery wrong and which now propels us to serfdom to bondholders for a decade.
