Political contamination

THE Greens have been contaminated by their association with Fianna Fáil and their efforts to bring Fine Gael and Labour into a similar type of contact is not surprising, considering how badly the Greens are doing in opinion polls.

Labour and Fine Gael will be contaminated by the process without gaining any power.

They will also be seen to have supported a failed government and perhaps even to have helped them stay in office. This will not do their reputations any good. The only party that would benefit from such a strategy would be SF.

The Greens should refuse to support this failed entity and withdraw support for FF. The voters will see this for what is... acting in the best interests of the country.
