Bertie’s vanity project blown out of site

THE resignation of Philip Lynch as chairman of the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board holed the project below the waterline.

Prof Carina Butler’s and Noel Smyth’s performances on the Pat Kenny Show (October 13) have blown Bertie Ahern’s vanity project out of the Mater site and onto the M50 where it belongs. Health Minister Mary Harney should now be fired for her abject promotion of Ahern’s legacy monument. The current development board should resign en mass and Noel Smyth should be given immediate control of the development of a world class children’s hospital for the benefit of future generations of our sick children, many as yet unborn.
