Debate challenge on cervical vaccine
However, we are appalled at his barefaced attempt to silence us and to muzzle the Irish Examiner simply because you chose to give a voice to us and to others who take issue with his ‘facts’.
MAI knows parents are not being given the full information about the risks associated with this vaccine. Parents, therefore, are being denied their right to make an informed decision. But name-calling through your letters page isn’t going to get the truth out, is it?
So, in the interests of fair play, MAI is now challenging Mr Walsh to an open public debate on the vaccine. Come on a platform with us and debate the issue publicly. MAI is willing to take responsibility for organising the debate.
Mr Walsh can put his facts to the gathering and we will put ours. And let the people decide which of us is right.
MAI can be contacted at mothersallianceireland@gmail.com.
Mr Barry can decide the date. All we ask that it be soon in the interest of girls and parents who are still confused.
