Evolution has nothing to do with blind chance

STEVE McGarry (Letters, January 18) should stick to writing about subjects he understands.

Following “evolutionists would have us believe” he goes on to display a complete misunderstanding of the fact of evolution by talking of “blind chance”.

If he had even lightly touched on researching his subject he would have understood that blind chance is the opposite of evolution.

All I can say is that successive generations of evolutionists since Darwin have sought to enlighten us, but Mr McGarry, along with other creationists, will continue to sit in the dark rather than open their eyes.

Evolution is not a belief – it’s a fact.
