Bertie reaches for his comfort blanket

IN these turbulent times it’s comforting to know there is a constant which we can still cling to like a comfort blanket against the daily onslaught of bad news.

The delusions of Bertie Ahern continue to provide endless amusement, like the gift that keeps on giving. Lately (September 8) he reflected on his time in office and enlightened us on what he felt was his biggest mistake.

Was it allowing the economy to become hugely dependent on unnecessary development? No.
