They had it coming

AS a long-standing Fine Gael supporter who resents the arrogance of Fianna Fáil as personified by Cowen, Ahern, Haughey, Roche and O’Dea, among others, I view the furore over the Taoiseach’s abysmal and ill-prepared interview on Morning Ireland as just desserts.

However, the country is in such a perilous state that my trivial pleasure at Mr Cowen’s discomfort trails my fears for our future generations after what these people have done to our country.
