IN his letter (September 13), Michael Job says, perceptively, that opposition to the Corrib gas pipeline, like opposition to nuclear power and wind farms, seems to be based on ignorance, superstition and mythology.

How true, but unfortunately this sort of ignorant opposition, especially to nuclear power, extends all the way up to the highest levels in the land.
