TDs v MPs: the cost

IN response to your report headlined ‘TDs v MPs: 33% less work for 20% more pay’(August 31), I’d like to make the point that it is only fair because, after all, the cost of living in Ireland is so much higher than in Britain – something I noticed particularly on my last visit to the Emerald Isle.

That this is due to the mismanagement of the economy and the high (and ever increasing) tax levels the Government has imposed on everyone else is another story...
