Price of ‘Green wind’

I AGREE with your columnist Seán Moncrieff (‘Our sorry excuse for political system’, August 10. However, when one considers what the Greens have brought upon our devastated country, with a miniscule vote, the parochialism of country TDs pales into insignificance.

The 5% increase in electricity charges to calm a “Green wind” is the last straw, and hopefully someone or something will bring an end to this charade at a time when the whole country is suffering job losses, wage cuts, etc.

I wish I knew the answer — maybe a military coup.
