New attraction

THE Sunday spin for us Cork folk frequently includes the west of the county, particularly when we have visitors we wish to show around.

There is Bantry House, Garnish Island, Ownahinca, Glandore, Castletownshend, Roaring Water Bay, Tragumna, etc.

Now there is another sight that has become popular lately – the ‘holiday home’ of Ivor Callely. Some rubberneckers walk around the house, peeping through the windows.

Some may feel this is an invasion of privacy.
