I CANNOT comment on the other facts in your page 1 article (August 6) but Michael Keogh certainly changed history if he was awarded the George Cross or as stated the George’s Cross during his British Army service from 1914 to 1916.

Firstly, the George Cross was initiated by George VI in 1940 and secondly it was only to be awarded to non-military personnel.
