Killers at the wheel

AM I the only one who is sick and tired of all the cant and hypocrisy – especially in the media – about the murderous behaviour of boys and young men on our roads?

The blame game includes everyone from the Government to local authorities to the RSA to the gardaí and, of course, the roads – everything and everyone, that is, except the kamikaze brats themselves and the parents who underwrite the carnage by purchasing or subsidising their darlings’ death machines. Frankly, I find the ‘musha, God help us’ response to these killers hard to stomach. And never a word of outrage expressed on behalf of their innocent victims going the other way.
