IN response to recent letters (June 29, July 12) on Arthur Griffith’s attitude to monarchism, did he not get the idea of a dual monarchy for Ireland from the ideas of Kossuth who was active in the Austro-Hungarian nationalist freedom movement of the late 19th century?
