No difference

I PRESUME Declan Doyle’s letter (‘Time for Ireland to grow up’, June 28) was tongue in cheek.

For the life of me I cannot see how a visit from an unelected person from across the water would make a damn bit of difference to the Ireland of today — or yesterday, for that matter.
