Party ‘turkeys’ take the Christmas option

WATCHING the Fine Gael ‘celebration’ of Enda Kenny’s victory was one of the most pathetic political spectacles I’ve ever witnessed.

TDs and senators scrambling to squeeze their faces into the TV cameras just shows that these people have no grip on reality and would rather play safe and stick with the man in control than listen to the voice of the people (outside Mayo) in poll after poll.

The only way that a Fine Gael government option should be taken seriously is with astute figures like Bruton and Varadkar at the helm.
