Leadership heave conducted at our expense?

FINE Gael TDs, senators and MEPs have had their day in the sun and I’m sure the backbenchers have had their concerns “noted”.

I hope none of them has the effrontery to recoup their travel and accommodation expenses. Whatever business they were about, it sure as hell was not state business. Perhaps by sending this letter I may have alerted them that someone is watching and if this deters them from reaping a handy harvest I – like Charlie Haughey – may have done the state some service.
