Wages question

HAVING read your report headlined ‘Minimum wage threatens recovery’ (June 14), I wonder how many of the accountancy professionals who took part in the survey are actually being paid the minimum wage?

Also, could you do a bit more research and determine if anyone surviving on the minimum wage is concerned that it is too high?

Another interesting question: are the fees demanded by accountancy professionals too high? It’s strange we never get surveys suggesting the professional classes might be able to get us out of recession by tightening their belts?
