This time it’s easy to identify the real terrorists
The Israeli action was an affront to the entire international community.
The simple fact is people have been murdered by the forces of Israel – and this type of savage action can only be described as state terrorism.
The spin that the Israeli government is trying to put on the savage act is that some on board were not genuine in their humanitarian efforts but had an ulterior purpose.
However, the fact is the majority of them were trying to assist the people of Gaza who have been under siege by the Israelis since Hamas took power.
Like it or not, Hamas won the votes of the people in the area and, as such, this reality must be recognised by the state of Israel.
It serves no purpose in telling revolutionary groups to engage in politics and then, when they gain political power, refuse to negotiate with them.
On this occasion it is easy to see who the real terrorists are.
