Hopes dashed

‘SEVERAL arrests at Anglo HQ’ was the headline in a Sunday paper last week.

At last, I thought, we have lift-off. It’s surely the start of a long process of prosecutions. Alas, no.

Reading on, I discovered it was just a few protesters being removed from the bank’s HQ.

We live in hope.
