RTÉ ‘stars’ fail to get to grips with politicians
These politicians, who occupied high public office for more than a decade, should be held to account for their actions which have contributed significantly to our present problems.
Instead much of the interviewing of ministers on RTÉ is, as Richard Duncliffe says, inept, obsequious and lightweight.
This gives rise to the situation in which there seems to be a lack of political accountability and in which some prominent government spokespersons can get away unchallenged with disowning government policies which they previously supported in cabinet and in the Dáil.
