RTÉ ‘stars’ fail to get to grips with politicians

I WELCOME Richard Duncliffe’s complaint about “woefully weak questioning” of government ministers by RTÉ’s “star performers” (Letters, April 20).

These politicians, who occupied high public office for more than a decade, should be held to account for their actions which have contributed significantly to our present problems.

Instead much of the interviewing of ministers on RTÉ is, as Richard Duncliffe says, inept, obsequious and lightweight.
