In ‘Thatcherland’

IN his letter (March 12), Jerry Daly says public sector unions should get the “Thatcher treatment”.

He should talk to some of the 400,000-plus unemployed, the tens of thousands emigrating, private and public sector workers on low pay, and to those who have lost their homes.

We already live in “Thatcher land” and we were brought there by the Government and its rich cronies – not by anyone’s trade union.
