Costly ‘pandemic’

THE Irish Examiner was the only newspaper to print my letter (August 20, ’09) on “swine flu hysteria”, which is now confirmed by the WHO.

They are examining the hysteria and the declaration of a “pandemic”. So much for the HSE explanation and expenditure of €85 million. What about the millions spent on future purchases of a vaccine that is not needed in this country? It reminds me of the evoting machines saga.
