I WAS astonished to read (February 17) that the release of water from Inniscarra dam on November 19 last was as high as 535 cubic millimetres per second.

Gosh! That should be just about enough to wet a gnat’s thrattle. I suspect your reporter needs to refresh his physics, etc.
