Car tax should go towards making roads safe

SO Transport Minister Noel Dempsey has no “no pot of gold” to repair our cratered roads. Well, I hope he is aware taxpayers’ money is not his money.

Or, to be more explicit, my road tax money is not his money but rather money that should be used to make our roads safe. If this doesn’t happen, I have to ask why am I paying €600 car tax?
