Fáilte Ireland is chasing the wrong tourist

LAST November, l,000 German travel agents were brought here to promote Ireland as a tourist destination.

This was a total waste of taxpayers’ money. Travel agents are now more or less a thing of the past.

Most of us use sites like Trip Adviser to find out the pros and cons of the country we hope to visit.
