What Haiti needs most – marines or doctors?

THE United States is sending 3,500 troops and 2,200 marines to Haiti. Cuba has sent 1,500 doctors plus three field hospitals (The Henry Reeves Brigade).

No doubt both groups are highly trained.

Which group will be of most benefit, the trained killers or the trained curers?
