Medal for veterans

THE Irish Veterans Memorial Project, in conjunction with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, is seeking to identify living veterans of the Korean War or, if deceased, next-of-kin who might wish to receive the Korean war service medal.

If you happen to be a veteran of that war, or are a member of a deceased veteran’s family, please contact me at the address below.

The Korean embassy will endeavour to issue the medals in a timely manner and, where possible, in person by the ambassador or a representative of the embassy. It is hoped that this will happen by early spring.
