Their mess – not ours

PRO-GOVERNMENT media cheerleaders frequently describe our dire economic situation as “the mess the country finds itself in” as if it was all an accident for which nobody was to blame.

All of us know it did not just happen. It was caused by the arrogance and incompetence of those at the head of government, banks, etc.

And what the hell is preventing the press from just saying so?
