I BELIEVE I have read enough of Steven King’s opinions to last me for quite some time.

In the space of two paragraphs in his review of the noughties (November 18), he manages once again to either ignore some facts or just gloss over others.

First his claim that tyranny came to an end in Iraq and Afghanistan at an “insignificant” toll when compared to the world wars.
