Lock them out

AT a time of national strife, when tens of thousands of private sector workers have lost their jobs and countless others have taken huge pay cuts, last Tuesday’s public sector strikes were nothing short of treason, and an insult to the public at large.

And now we are told that another day of strikes is to be scheduled. Quite simply, any public sector workers who leave their jobs for a second day should be locked out. There are 400,000 people on the dole queues who would gladly take their place.
