Dangerous way to drive home message
Clearly she cannot have been giving her driving anything like the necessary attention.
Making TVs programmes from the driving seat seems to fall outside the usual road safety norms, judging by the number of people who do it on a variety of programmes from Top Gear to the news.
The latest promotion for RTÉ’s farming programme, Ear To The Ground, has another woman driving along a public road telling us all about what we cannot afford to miss.
Presumably the programme will continue to stress various aspects of safety on the farm, whatever about off the farm. If it is dangerous to use a mobile phone while driving, why it is okay to do TV programmes from behind the wheel?
