Telling it straight

I WISH to congratulate Shaun Connolly on his wonderful exposé of John O’Donoghue’s resignation speech (Irish Examiner, October 14).

O’Donoghue’s arrogance and grandeur made him oblivious to the angry mobs outside the palace gates of Kildare Street begging for honesty and maybe, if God is good, a leader worthy of the position.
