No questions asked over five years in the job

CEANN Comhairle John O’Donoghue has intensified my feeling of disgust with politicians in this country.

It beggars belief that no one had questioned these expenses over his five years as Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism.

Now we’re told that in his capacity as Ceann Comhairle,“it would not be proper for him to become involved in public debate”.
