Blame pharmacists— not the HSE

I WOULD not normally find myself in agreement with Mary Harney or the HSE, yet I am now.

Why do I hear people complain about the HSE when they have difficulties obtaining their medication because of the pharmacists’ strike?

The HSE is not on strike. It has not withdrawn services. In fact it is attempting to provide extra services to overcome the problems created by the pharmacists who are using vulnerable people to further their aims.

How many pharmacists joined the growing unemployment queues this year? How many of our vulnerable citizens are being put at risk in the pharmacists’ financial battle? We are all suffering financially these days, yet thankfully we don’t all act in this way.
