Outstanding show

THE success of the charity fundraising concert at UCC last week was a rare bright spot amid all the current gloom.

After a day of deluge, even the rains stopped for the duration of the show in The Quad. The university venue is perfect for such events and should be utilised more.

Plaudits to Garda John O’Halloran and his event team for a truly memorable night. I’m sure the people at the Cork Cancer Research Centre and St Laurence Cheshire Home would concur.
