ALREADY, in its relatively sort life, the new Thomond Park has hosted some wonderful occasions.

How will anyone who saw it ever forget the Munster haka when the All Blacks visited the wonderful stadium last April?

The sense of pride generated on the pitch is significant but that has been enhanced by the announcement that the stadium, designed by Murray O’Laoire architects, has won the People’s Choice in this year’s Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland Awards.
