Happy day

I WISH to congratulate the Cork Midsummer Festival team on the highly entertaining AIB street performance world championship in Fitzgerald Park last Saturday.

My family had the best day out in a long time. Later I watched Cork hammer Kerry in another sunny park up the river. There is a saying that Cork people get homesick in Cork. On Saturday it was justified.
