Time for SF to repay its ‘debt’ to the state
(1) The hold-ups in towns while the army and gardaí escort cash deliveries to banks and post offices and
(2) The endless security at airports.
(1) Is attributable to Sinn Féin/IRA’s fund raising activities (1968 – whenever) and
(2) Is a response to them and the activities of their colleagues in FARC, Hamas, Fatah, etc.
Maybe, as their TDs have asked the religious organisations to “up the ante” after the Ryan commission report on institutional child abuse, the time has come for them to ameliorate the state’s financial woes from their vast resources culled from protection rackets, kidnappings and bank and post office raids over the years.
Can anybody quantify the burden on our taxation caused by their criminal activities – not to mention their contribution to lowering the value of life (eg, the current drug wars)?
