FF shows no contrition for inflating the bubble

BOTH Justice Minister Dermot Ahern and the Taoiseach seem to be persisting with the delusion that the electorate is punishing them for the tough decisions being made at present as if they are martyrs for Mother Éireann.

Fianna Fáil candidates also continue to peddle the yarn about Ireland’s open economy being caught up in a global firestorm which was unpredictable. They may as well carry around bowls of water to wash their hands.

The fact of the matter is that the electorate are increasingly coming round to the realisation that Fianna Fáil/PD policies caused the inflation of a bubble that is now causing serious difficulties for many people.
