Let’s get taxi service up to standard

WITH all the recent complaints from taxi drivers over the issuing of licences and regulation, perhaps it is time to examine the quality of service we receive.

It is clear there are too many old, poorly maintained and unsuitable taxi cabs in use.

If we are to pay a standardised fare, we should expect a certain standard of service.
