Sky’s the limit: Heuston, we have a problem

IT was with amazement I strode into Heuston Station in Dublin last week. The first sight to greet me was a giant TV screen streaming images direct from Rupert Murdoch’s seemingly all-consuming satellite.

I thought I had my fill of it in every shop and pub of Dublin, but apparently I was in need of another dram of Rupert’s remedy.

Right where the departures/arrivals should be displayed was the latest and greatest example of plasma technology, streaming Sky satellite television.
