Question of priorities

FOR the past week we have witnessed an unprecedented media surge in the coverage of swine flu and, unfortunately, a few hundred people have died of this dreadful disease.

In Sri Lanka thousands upon thousands of Tamils are being slaughtered day and night, the UN condemns it, but no country is doing anything about it.

It is time for the media to speak out and gets in priorities right.
