Lyric celebrates - A wonderful journey

THE establishment of Lyric FM ten years ago today was one of the very best and truly positive things that has happened in this country in many, many years.

Though the music station’s listenership figures seem stuck at around 3% those involved can give themselves a considerable pat on the back.

After all the station’s objectives are not commercial and by its continued existence the station shows the true worth of public service broadcasting.
